ARIEDO BRAIDA had a meeting with Pantaleo Corvino.
Will we see deals between Milan and Fiorentina this summer? As revealed on the “Speciale Calciomercato”, aired on Sportitalia, Milan Sporting Director Braida met with Fiorentina Director Corvino on Wednesday night.
The meeting took place in the Auriga Hotel in Milano. It is still unclear what the two sides talked about, but rumours are that the topic of the meeting was Riccardo Montolivo, who is expected to leave Fiorentina.
Montolivo is not a name you hear often on the newspapers with a relation to Milan, but the Rossoneri, who are looking for an Andrea Pirlo replacement, could be interested in signing the 26-year-old Italian.
Other rumours suggest that Braida and Corvino might have spoken about Antonio Cassano. The player is constantly linked with a Milan exit and despite denials, his days playing for Milan could be numbered.
FantAntonio attracted interest from Fiorentina and apparently told friends that they will go there if they want him. The 28-year-old attacker is looking for some first-team football for a place in the 2012 Euro.
